Come and hear about how BIM is applied to smaller transport projects. Michal Šobr, BIM Manager from Prodin, will open the following topics and share his practical experience:
- Does it make sense? … Is it worth using BIM for smaller transport projects (paved areas, service roads for residential buildings, etc.)?
- How to model earthworks and surfaces.
- Why it works and where it falters.
- The perspective of a designer and BIM manager when implementing BIM in a mid-sized design company.
- Mental collisions in the perception of BIM in transport and civil engineering projects.
The event will take place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology, as part of the BIM from Practice project, which connects theory and practice at the university through discussion meetings between students and professionals in construction and BIM.
